There are many applications where lightweight and directionally tunable materials can improve peoples lives. Unfortunately, technological barriers have historically limited their use to edge cases- that's why Rapid TPC has honed a unique prototyping and manufacturing process to make composites easy and accessible.

Mission

To make composites easy

Rapid TPC's mission is to "make composites simple" by providing access to tools that eliminate barriers to their use. Ultimately, Rapid TPC's goal is to make the complexity of designing and manufacturing composite parts similar to common materials and processes.

To achieve our goals, Rapid TPC sees the need to provide quick-turn prototype and high throughput production services. We found these aspects to be so important to becoming competitive with composites that we made it part of our name. Our current standard for forming parts lead to a more RAPID part turnaround and throughput (120+ times faster) than some standard composite manufacturing processes.

Achieving rapid throughput for customers and agility in turnaround would not be possible without using thermoplastic composites (TPC's). With a wide range of performance characteristics, superior toughness, processing time, and recyclability, TPC's are ideal to leverage economies of scale and access new applications or replace existing (thermoset) solutions. Rapid TPC believes so strongly in TPC's that it also made it into the company name.
